1. Choose three chapters
Try two photos from the beginning, two from a time when you grew together, and two that show your life now. This is an editing suggestion, not a product limit. Choose each photograph because it tells a story, not simply because it looks polished.
2. Write what the photo cannot show
Instead of ‘Our first holiday’, try ‘We spent all day in this café because it rained, and it still became my favorite day.’ Add a date or place when you know it. If a detail is fuzzy, write about how the moment felt rather than inventing it.
3. Choose an album, museum or song
A gift website suits something your partner can read at their own pace. A museum makes it a shared visit. A personalized song puts the story into something they can listen to. You do not need all three at once; choose one main experience.
4. Plan how you will share it
Before sending the link, check names, dates and the order of your photos. If you use a password, test access in another window. End with a question such as ‘Which photograph should we add here next year?’ and choose a time when neither of you needs to rush.
Your next small step
Start with your own words and memories. Then try the setting you have chosen and see whether the actual experience fits your idea before buying.
