How to Write a Story Brief for a Personalized Song

A song feels personal because of more than a name in the lyrics. A scene, habit or little phrase you both recognize is a stronger starting point. Before filling out the form, reduce your story to a few specific details.

1. Choose one main feeling

A thank-you song, an anniversary celebration and a reflection on a difficult year need different approaches. Choose one focus rather than trying to summarize your entire relationship. Pick a musical style your recipient actually enjoys.

2. Give three concrete details

Instead of ‘We have so many memories’, say where you met, something that still makes you laugh and a hope for the future. For example: ‘We met in a bookshop. We took the wrong turn on our first walk. One day we want to live by the sea.’ Replace those details with your own.

3. Offer a short idea for the chorus

You might start with an idea such as ‘Home is wherever we are together’. Describe the meaning in your own words instead of copying lyrics from an existing song. AI-generated wording, pronunciation and delivery can vary, so listening to the preview matters.

4. Listen closely to the preview

Check the spelling of names before generation and how they sound in the preview. Listen for the main message and whether the style suits your idea. Follow the current terms shown during generation and checkout; a written brief cannot guarantee an exact artistic result.

Your next small step

Start with your own words and memories. Then try the setting you have chosen and see whether the actual experience fits your idea before buying.
